Keep the expression; inspect the hair
The face and purple shirt remain recognizable. Gray background remains beside the hair and beneath the arm; those patches are places to inspect with Erase before saving your own result.

Photo Sticker Examples
These existing demo photos were exported with the browser editor on September 6, 2026, using a white outline and no manual brush corrections. They show the starting result and its limits, not a promise of perfect edges.

Pet photo
The cat's seated shape survives, but fine whiskers are less complete and a gray patch remains beside the tail. An outline makes the silhouette clearer; it does not restore missing fur.

Object photo
The drink separates from the cafe scene while its lid and reflections remain. Check the rim and base against another background. Removing the scene does not turn photographed plastic into optically transparent material.

The subject comes from the photo, including its lighting and texture.
Look for background patches, lost hair, and gaps inside the silhouette.

Your Photo
A funny expression, a cat sitting on the sofa, or your favorite coffee can work as a sticker without being redrawn. This photo to sticker converter cuts the subject out of the picture you took. It keeps the photographed appearance, then lets you correct the boundary before saving a transparent digital file for chats, social posts, or personal layouts. Start with one clear subject rather than a crowded group photo: the goal is a recognizable person, pet, or object after the scenery is gone.
Keep the expression, coat markings, and familiar details in the source photo. Automatic background removal separates the subject; it does not generate a cartoon, anime character, or AI avatar.
Use Erase on leftover wall, grass, or sofa pixels, and Restore on visible source detail that was cut away. You can improve an imperfect edge without tracing the entire subject from scratch.
Save a transparent PNG for reuse on other backgrounds, or a square 512 PNG for compact layouts. For WhatsApp-oriented WebP, use the linked WhatsApp Sticker Maker. Downloads are free and have no watermark.
Photo to Sticker Steps
Choose a photo, inspect the subject, refine the edge, and download free.
Use the original camera picture when available. Keep the face, ears, hands, or object corners inside the frame. Select one supported photo; no account is needed. Allow time for the local model download on first use.
Inspect hair, fur, and spaces beside arms or handles. Erase removes unwanted background; Restore brings back pixels from the original. Work in small strokes and check the silhouette again at chat size.
Add a white or colored outline, or switch it off for a plain cutout. Save a transparent PNG or square 512 PNG here. If you need WebP, save your work before moving to the linked WhatsApp Sticker Maker; edits do not transfer between pages.
Photo Tips
Avoid photos that crop off the top of the head or hide hair against a similarly dark wall. The editor can restore source pixels, but cannot recover hair outside the original frame.
Motion blur blends fur into the background. Choose a shot with visible ears and a clear face, then check whiskers and paws rather than assuming every fine strand survived.
A cup handle, bicycle frame, or space between fingers may keep small background islands. Erase those areas carefully while preserving highlights that belong to the object itself.
Photo Sticker FAQ
What stays on your device, what you can repair, and which digital file to save.
Yes. Choose a photo, edit the cutout, and download it free in your browser. No sign-up is required and no watermark is added. You do not need to install a separate editing app, although the browser downloads a local model on first use.
The photo stays on your device for background removal and editing. Choosing a file here opens it in the browser editor instead of sending it to a photo-processing server. The first run still needs a model download. If you later share the exported file through another app, that app has its own handling rules.
No. This is a subject cutout editor: it removes the scene around the real photographed subject. Your face, clothing, and expression come from the source photo. It does not redraw you, invent a new pose, or apply a cartoon or anime transformation.
Use Restore where the original photo contains detail that the automatic cutout removed, and Erase where background remains. Fine hair and fur can still be difficult, especially against similar colors. Neither brush can invent sharp strands from motion blur or recover an ear that was cropped out of the original photo.
Yes. Enable the outline and adjust its width and color for the look you want. White can help a selfie or pet stand out on a busy background. Switch the outline off for a plain transparent cutout. Clean unwanted background first: a thick border can hide a defect without fixing it.
Keep the transparent PNG as your reusable cutout, or choose the square 512 PNG to place it on a 512 by 512 transparent canvas. Both are available here. For WhatsApp-oriented WebP, save your PNG and open the linked WhatsApp Sticker Maker, where you select a file again. That page may provide a 512 PNG fallback if WebP export is unavailable; check the downloaded extension.
No. Downloading WebP does not install a sticker or connect your WhatsApp account. Use the WhatsApp Sticker Maker linked below for export and import guidance, then complete the import using the current app or a compatible sticker importer on your device. StickerBeam creates the file, not a published sticker pack.
The current editor is designed to cut out a subject. It does not offer a dedicated keep-the-whole-photo rectangle mode. A square 512 export places the cutout on a transparent square canvas; it does not preserve the original rectangular scene. Keep your source photo if the background is part of the memory you want to share.
No. StickerBeam supplies digital PNG or WebP files only. There is no print order, adhesive material, shipping service, or physical sticker pack. If you need a printed product, use a separate print provider and check its file requirements; a transparent download alone is not a print-ready guarantee.
The browser downloads and initializes the local background-removal model before it can process the first photo. Connection speed and device capability affect the wait. Keep the tab open while it loads. If processing fails, follow the displayed message, check the file, and consider a smaller copy rather than repeatedly selecting more photos.
The editor accepts one JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF image up to 25 MB. HEIC and camera RAW are not supported inputs. Export a JPEG or PNG copy from your photo app first, keeping the original. Renaming a file extension does not convert it, and a small screenshot may lose useful hair or fur detail.

For a selfie, the expression matters more than every loose strand of hair. Check the eyes, mouth, jaw, and any hand gesture first. For a pet, start with the ears, face markings, paws, and tail. For an object, inspect the features that identify it, such as a cup handle, lid, or distinctive corner. If one of those features disappears, repair it before spending time on tiny background specks.
A crowded family photo can make subject selection less predictable. Start with a separate portrait if your goal is one person's reaction sticker. Similarly, a dog running through grass may be harder to separate than the same dog sitting still. Choosing another photo is often more useful than trying to reconstruct a blurred or hidden boundary.
Work from obvious errors toward uncertain ones. Erase a clear patch of wall beside the head, then use a smaller brush where hair overlaps that wall. If you remove too much, Restore brings the original pixels back into the cutout. It may bring some neighboring background back too, so inspect the transition again instead of brushing over the whole edge at once.
Fur is not a solid outline. A soft fringe may be part of the coat, while a gray island beside the tail may be leftover sofa. Compare with the source photo and test the result on both light and dark backgrounds. Stop when the pet looks convincing at the size you intend to share; promising perfect individual whiskers would be unrealistic.
A transparent PNG preserves the subject and its transparent surroundings for reuse. A 512 PNG changes the canvas to a square for compact layouts. Both downloads are available here; WebP export lives on the linked WhatsApp Sticker Maker. Save your PNG before switching pages and selecting a file there. WebP cannot repair an unwanted background patch or install itself in a chat app.
If a viewer shows white behind your sticker, that alone does not prove the file lost transparency. Place it over a colored background to check. If the whole original scene remains visible, that is different from a square transparent canvas around a cutout. This editor is for isolating the subject; it has no dedicated mode that turns the complete rectangular photo into a sticker while preserving its scene.
Keep your original camera photo alongside the downloaded PNG. The source contains the setting and any pixels you might want to restore later; the cutout is a separate digital asset. Download before refreshing or leaving the editor because there is no account-based project history. Once you send a copy to a messaging or design app, check that copy there: another app may resize it, flatten transparency, or handle import differently.
